UNFAIR MANAGING
One of the office managers really irks me. When I ask if I can have a day off lately, she says wait let me ask so and so if she wants it off. What the fuck is that all about? I have seniority and I'm asking about a day two weeks in the future. If no one has asked for it by that point, why should they be offered the day off first? I don't get it. Don't you think it's really a bitchy thing to do? It's on a day that the physician is off also so it wont be busy. I found out she was taking the day off by hearing her talk to another doctor on the phone. So I told the manager and mentioned that she's taking the day off, so can I have it off too? When she picks up the phone and says, "Let me ask Sheila or Lou if they want the day off first and if not then you can." At that point I was seeing red. I had to bite my tongue and I left the room.
Minutes later she told me I could have the day off. Again I must say WHAT THE FUCK!
When people who win lotteries say they still want to stay at their jobs, I just want to fucking smack them upside their heads. WHY? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY? Next time I want off, I'm asking in front of one of the physicians so that they can be witness to what is going on.

Don't involve a physician unless one of them participates in management.
If scheduling is a hassle, try giving a request 3 weeks in advance instead of 2.
If you have seniority, I don't see why the manager has to ask other people before granting the A-OK?
